Internal Medicine
We all know that pets cannot tell us how they are feeling. It is important that we try to use all of our resources to determine the medical problems facing your pet even before problems arise. Our doctors will use lab diagnostics, biopsies and radiographs to find out what is the cause of your pet's illness or to warn us of what may be coming. Our goal is to focus on detection in the early stages of a disease rather than in a critical moment.
In-House Laboratory
When time is critical, our in-house laboratory allows us to get results within minutes and not days. Our lab equipment gives us up-to-the-minute results when your pet needs it most. Our in-house laboratory also allows us instant results to confirm that your pet is healthy and ready to play that same day!
Surgery
North Royalton Animal Hospital has a team of veterinary technicians and doctors that perform routine, advanced and emergency life-saving surgery. Having your pet go through surgery can be stressful to a pet owner. That is why we care for your dog or cat like they were our own. Our hospital adheres to the AAHA guidelines for surgical procedures, therefore, allowing the patient to have the most successful outcome possible.
Anesthesia
Anesthesia for your pet is a very important part of any type of surgery. Our hospital has taken the most advanced approach to anesthesia monitoring with our team of highly skilled veterinary technicians and doctors. They are dedicated to providing the highest standard of anesthesia and safety for your pet.
Ultrasound
Ultrasound can be used to evaluate almost any organ in the body, including the heart, lungs, and abdominal organs, as well as the bones. In addition, our veterinarians have board certified radiologists available to evaluate any x-rays that are taken on your pet.
Digital Radiology
Our digital x-ray system allows for immediate results when time is of the essence. A radiograph (sometimes called an x-ray) is a type of photograph that can look inside the body and reveal information that may not be discernable from the outside.
Gold Feline Friendly
Going to the vet can be stressful enough! Our feline friendly environment is designed with the most tempermental kitty in mind. Our waiting room has a separate area just for cats to wait and two exam rooms are designated just for cats. The exam rooms have calming music and feline aromatherapy to keep your kitty relaxed.
Laser Therapy
Laser therapy is a surgery-free, drug free, noninvasive treatment to reduce pain, reduce inflammation and speed health. Laser therapy accelerates the body's natural healing process through photo-bio-modulation. Treatment protocols are unique to each patient and condition. It can be used to enhance and manage other treatment plans recommended by your veterinarian.
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Injections
At North Royalton Animal Hospital, we strive to stay on the cutting edge of medicine. We are excited to now offer PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) injections to help battle osteoarthritis. The Enso Discoveries PRP system that we use is FDA approved in both dogs and cats. So, whether your fur baby is sensitive to medications, has progressing arthritis, or you want to have the option of another great therapy to help ease their pain, here it is!
Dental Care
Our veterinarians look at your pet's mouth for more then just bad breath! A dental exam can find dental disease that not only affects the mouth, but can also lead to more serious health problems such as heart, lung, and kidney disease.
